Each concessions time slot has 2-3 volunteers that share the following jobs during their shift. The concession stand is fun, casual, great teamwork and perfect opportunity to meet other parents. All concession sales help the Tiger Volleyball Booster club provide scholarships, coaching staff, apparel, end-of-season banquet and much more!

1. Cashier

2. Sales - take orders, serve customers, monitor condiment table, restock supplies and document slushie orders

3. Closing procedures - supply inventory, note items for restock, wipe down condiment table, put supplies away, place food items in refrigerator or freezer

We supply adult line judges (vs students) for each home game. You will be shown what to do when you arrive, so no worries if you're a newbie!

Chuck-A-Duck Volunteers

This is a fun and easy fundraising activity that we do at each home game. We need one volunteer to sell numbered ducks from the start of the varsity game up until the second set is over. At that point, everyone who has purchased a duck will be instructed to throw their ducks at a target in the middle of the gym floor. The duck closest to the target wins half the pot, and South Tiger Volleyball keeps the other half!

"On-Call" Carpool Volunteers
Image by Girl with red hat

Last year we did not have any issues with getting bus drivers for bussing players to away games, but we would still like to have parents/guardians to sign up to be "on call" in case we run into any bussing issues. Hoping to have a few parents for each away game, in addition to our varsity drivers. The time frame for this could be anywhere from around 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm. Usually they are able to get themselves home with family or friends. We will text/call you if you are needed, but if you don't hear from us, you're off the hook!
